St Stephen’s Basilica
St Stephen’s Basilica panorama lookout is one of the best spot to discover the city from the top. You can enjoy the breathtaking panorama from the St Stephen’s Basilica. Panorama lookout is the highest point of the Pest side. The panoramic terrace is 65 metres high. You can see the main attractions of Budapest from the lookout.
St Stephen’s Panorama lookout opening hours:
- from October 1 to June 30 – 10:00am – 4:40pm
- from July 1 to September 30 – 10:00am – 6:30pm
St Stephen’s Panorama lookout tickets:
- Adults: 600 HUF (around 2 EUR)
- Students: 400 HUF (around 1,25 EUR)

You can enjoy the view of the Hungarian Parliament Building from the right side of the panorama lookout. The wonderful towering Buda hills in the background and Basilica’s tower in the foreground.

If you turn your head to the left you stand admiring the splendid scenery of Gellért hill and the great Budapest eye.

In the middle of the panorama lookout you can see the St Stephen’s square and the Zrínyi street which is an adorable cobblestone street full of bars and restaurants. You can try unique italian ice-cream at the Zrínyi street as well.
